Description
Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Steak Bites are tender, juicy, and packed with rich garlic butter flavor. Perfect for weeknights or gatherings.
Ingredients
3 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small sweet onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 cup unsalted beef stock
1 ounce packet au jus gravy mix
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. Place steak in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and toss to combine.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with vegetable oil. Sear steak pieces in batches until browned.
3. Transfer seared steak to a slow cooker with onions and garlic. Stir gently.
4. Pour in beef stock and sprinkle au jus mix over the steak. Lay butter slices on top.
5. Cover and cook on high 3–4 hours or low 6–8 hours. Stir occasionally if possible.
6. Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles, spooning gravy over the top.
Notes
Use a hot skillet to sear steak properly.
Add Worcestershire sauce or fresh herbs for extra flavor.
Leftovers store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
