Description
This Rustic Tomato Tart combines a golden, buttery crust with sweet roasted tomatoes and gooey cheese. Perfect for using ripe garden tomatoes.
Ingredients
2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
Optional: sun-dried tomatoes
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 sheet Puff pastry, thawed
1 ball Burrata, fresh
1 cup Mozzarella or Gruyère, shredded
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
2. Roll out puff pastry on parchment-lined baking sheet
3. Spread Dijon mustard leaving 1-inch border
4. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella or Gruyère
5. Arrange tomato slices on top
6. Drizzle olive oil lightly
7. Fold pastry edges to create rustic border
8. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden
9. Top with fresh burrata and herbs
10. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature

Pat tomatoes dry to prevent soggy pastry
