Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Red and green gel food coloring
1 cup granulated sugar
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 1/2 cups unsalted butter
2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
1/2 cup whole milk
Gold candy stars
Edible gold glitter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven and line cupcake pan with liners.
2. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
4. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to butter mixture.
6. Divide batter into three bowls for layering.
7. Add red and green gel food coloring to two bowls, leaving one plain.
8. Layer colored batters in cupcake liners for rainbow effect.
9. Bake until toothpick comes out clean.
10. Beat butter and powdered sugar for frosting.
11. Add cream and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
12. Frost cooled cupcakes with swirls.
13. Decorate with edible gold glitter and gold candy stars.
Notes
Use gel food coloring for vibrant layers.
Chill cupcakes before frosting for easy decorating.
