Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 hoagie rolls, toasted
4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms, and sauté until soft and lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
2. Add ground beef to the same skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
3. Return the cooked vegetables to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for two minutes to blend flavors.
4. Place a slice of provolone cheese in each toasted hoagie roll. Spoon the hot beef mixture over the cheese.
5. Serve immediately while hot and melty.
Notes
