Ingredients
2 garlic cloves, minced
10 oz rigatoni pasta
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup mozzarella or fontina cheese
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
Instructions
1. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Sear the steak tips until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
4. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.
5. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
7. Add mozzarella or fontina and Parmesan. Stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
8. Drain the pasta and toss it in the cheese sauce.
9. Add the steak tips and fold gently to combine.
10. Serve warm and garnish with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
Use ribeye for extra tenderness and flavor.
Add more Cajun seasoning for extra heat.
Reserve pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
