Description
A crispy, cheesy Pizza Grilled Cheese packed with pepperoni, marinara, and gooey mozzarella. It cooks fast and tastes like pizza in sandwich form.
Ingredients
8 slices of bread
1/4 cup softened butter
1/4 cup grated parmesan
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup marinara
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
1 cup pepperoni
Instructions
1. Preheat a skillet to medium-high heat.
2. Combine the parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
3. Spread butter on each slice of bread and sprinkle with the parmesan mixture.
4. Add marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni to the inside of each sandwich.
5. Cook 5–8 minutes on each side until golden and cheese is melted.
Notes
Serve with extra marinara for dipping.
Use turkey pepperoni or vegetables for a lighter version.
Keep heat medium-high so the bread crisps without burning.
